Lasse Bruun is an advocacy expert in climate, sustainable agriculture and food systems. He leads 50by40, a collective impact organisation working towards a fair, healthy and compassionate food system. He has led high-level international dialogues and campaigns in more than 20 countries, the EU Parliament, FAO, UNFCCC and International Whaling Commission. He has championed Just Livestock Transition as the key to shifting the global food system to mitigate climate change, improve public health and revitalise rural economies. Lasse is the global civil society lead for the UN Food System Summit Action Track 2 (AT) 'Shift to sustainable consumption patterns', as well as liaison to Action Track 5 'Build resilience to vulnerabilities, shocks and stress' . He further co-leads Action Area 3.2 “Manage sustainably existing food systems”.
